Día Mágico (Magical Day), the communion and ceremony trade show by FIMI will be held from 12th  to 14th  May 2017 in Madrid.

In its fifth edition it will celebrate the fashion show Paseo Mágico (Magic Walk). An event where all the novelties and tendencies for the coming season are presented. The best national and international brands will take part. Magic Walk is celebrated simultaneously with Magical Day by FIMI during Friday 12th  and Saturday 13th  May.

News in the next edition of FIMI

Next edition of FIMI to be held from 20th to 22th January 2017 in Madrid will open its doors with news: PETIT FIMI; a new space for products that take up little space, are lightweight, fashionable and created exclusively for brands specialized in accessories; FASHION 360; short talks, meetings with professionals from all fields: renowned designers, marketing specialists, fashion gurus. An added value of training for participants and professionals related to children and youth fashion brands.

FIMI launches “You and I” AGENDA in which manufacturers, stores and commercial agents will be in direct contact in order to generate visits and plan the agenda prior to the conclusion of the event. FIMI also launches YOU MUST BE, aimed at both the domestic and foreign supply and demand. A communication strategy to give individualized response to the needs of each company and multibrand shop.

5th edition of Puericultura Madrid 2016


Puericultura Madrid, International Childhood Products Trade Show, organized by IFEMA, celebrates its 5th edition from 29th September to 2nd October 2016 at Feria de Madrid, reinforcing its position as the great professional showcase of new products and innovations in the world of Baby in Spain, Portugal and major foreign markets.

This exhibition brings together nearly 500 exhibitors and leading brands.
The trade fair has a program of more than 600 invited buyers, of which 70 are from Germany, Andorra, Algeria, China, United States, France, Honduras, Iran, Ireland, Italy, Morocco, Portugal, Tunisia, Sweden, United Arab Emirates States and Turkey.

One of the great innovations of this edition of Puericultura Madrid is the presentation of the new MIMO Madrid Catwalk, Fashion and Trends for babies and moms. This catwalk, organized by IFEMA in collaboration with Asepri will be held on September 30th at 12 hours -for media and Bloggers- and 18 hours, and Saturday 1st October at 18 pm, in Hall 9  of Feria de Madrid, where the fair is held.

MIMO Madrid will include the presentation of the collections of Bebecar, Columbus GB, Kiddy, Micuna and Tuc Tuc, as well as the collective charity fashion show of Marca España, organized by Asepri, in collaboration with IFEMA, where the creations of Babyhome, Baby Monsters, Bebédue, Bimbi Pirulos, Bonjourbébé and Pielsa will be displayed. The amount collected for the registration of companies in the collective charity fashion show will be given to Spanish Red Cross.
MIMO Madrid is located in the area Baby & Mum Experience, where during the days of celebration of the fair will be permanently exposed the products of the brands participating in fashion shows.

SBS organised its first national seminar in Spain

SBS held its first national awareness raising seminar in Madrid, Spain, co-organised with SBS’ member organisation EFESME, with speakers from the European Commission, CEN-CENELEC and AENOR (Spanish Standardisation Organisation). The event focused on SMEs’ sectoral representation in the EU standards making process was structured in two parts: a general one aiming to inform SMEs and national horizontal and sectorial associations of the European Standardisation Systems and the tools available for SMEs. The seminar was the occasion to raise awareness on the Joint Initiative on Standardisation signed by UEAPME and SBS in June. Here you can read more about standardisation:

Puericultura Madrid and ASEPRI present their new catwalk Madrid Baby & Mum

pueriOne of the great innovations of the 4th edition of Puericultura Madrid, International Childhood Products Trade Show (from 29th September to 2nd October 2016 at Feria de Madrid), will be the presentation of its catwalk Madrid Baby & Mum, organized in collaboration with ASEPRI (Spanish Association of Children’s Products). In it, the new childcare trends and products of the exhibiting brands will be presented.

The event is aimed at media and buyers in the industry.

In total, three shows will take place in this catwalk:

  1. Friday 30th September at 18.00.
  2. Saturday 1st October at 18.00.
  3. A show aimed at press, media and bloggers on Friday 30th at 12 pm.

Madrid Puericultura drives this new initiative in order to value the products displayed by the exhibitors, offering them an additional means of promotion and added value to their stand. The event will have a maximum of 15 participating brands.

FIMI starts the next 24th of June with more than 300 exhibitor brands


FIMI in its 83rd edition brings together 300 exhibitors proposals to dress the small ones in Spring-Summer 2017. A commercial offer with the latest children’s fashion, swimwear, footwear and accessories made by firms from Germany, Spain, Argentina, Italy, France, Portugal, Peru, United Kingdom and Russia, among others.

In FIMI KIDS FASHION WEEK catwalk, 18 renowned brands will show their creations in children’s fashion and swimwear. The fashion shows will take place on Friday and Saturday at 18.30.

FIMI will be visited by foreign buyers from 55 countries, 23% more than its last edition. In this regard, we must emphasize the commercial mission coming from Denmark, Holland and Sweden, that come to FIMI in search of Spanish fashion, the “made in Spain”, because of its design, quality-price and above all for their good work.

The 83 edition of FIMI will take place from 24th  to 26th of June in the Glass Pavilion of the Casa de Campo in Madrid, from 10 to 19 pm on Friday and Saturday, and from 9.00 am to 15.00 pm on Sunday.

The next edition of Puericultura, the International Childhood Products Trade Show, will  be held from 29th September to 2nd October in Madrid.

Puericultura is going to keep all those aspects that are making it unique. As in previous editions, it will be composed by different spaces: Toy, Fashion, Food and Hygiene and Starters area, as support for emerging companies.

Moreover, it also offers business options and projection for brands, through actions and special areas of the fair, such as Star Product Gallery, an exhibition of the most important items from a selection of brands; PlayGround, children’s playground lounge for children of visitors; TV in order to interview brands and buyers, and the area of Networking and Business with hosted buyers.Thus, it will offer an innovative and special format that facilitates a positive shopping experience, favored by its design and the existence of interaction spaces created for shoppers. And for the first time, Asepri and Puericultura will present the Puericultura Madrid Fashion Show.

Huge success of the last edition of Día Mágico

The only fair specialized in communion and ceremony wear for children celebrated all over the world, Día Mágico by FIMI, closed its fourth edition the past weekend in Valencia.

Manufacturers and buyers agree that it is the best scenario for doing business and know the trends, also registered data reveals how important the fair has become: while supply has grown a 40% respect to the previous year, the number of buyers has registered an increase of a 10%.

Several brands that showed their collections have experienced an important increase in their sales and have received many visits from new clients.

The assessment is positive and the results have overcome expectations.
